TERJUNGENSEMBLE and Miriam premiering Forest Night Music by Jan Erik Mikalsen

TERJUNGENSEMBLE will perform Jan Erik Mikalsen's newly composed violin concerto, Forest Night Music, with renowned Norwegian violinist Miriam Helms Ålien as soloist, at two concerts in November: at Sliperiet, Larvik on Nov. 2 and Kulturkirken Gamle Fredrikstad on Nov. 4. Lara Macri will play the obbligato harp part. We will also perform Cecilie Ore's Glacier Song II, from the award-winning work H2O trilogy, arranged for the ensemble, and movement no. 8, knoppar, from the autumn suite by Magnar Åm, which he wrote for the ensemble in 2024. The new works are framed by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
