Volda church. In September we play Magnar Åm’s atumn suite “kintsukuroi” for the festival tonehimmel in Volda, Åm’s home town. This great work, lasting 75 minutes, is a commission from TERJUNGENSEMBLE and conductor Lars-Erik ter Jung. The “kintsukuroi” concerts are made possible by our co-operation with the festival and the support from The Arts Council Norway and the Ludimus Fund.

Industrihallen på Skeide (near Volda). We play a concert with music by Magnar Åm and Cecilie Ore for the festival tonehimmel in Volda, where also the film “A stranger in the world” by Sturla Pilskog will be shown - featuring composer Åm in conversations. The TERJUNGENSEMBLE presents a programme ranging from medieval songs by Hildegard von Bingen, via Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, to newly composed works by Magnar Åm and Bendik Kløvendal. The soloists are folk singer Synnøve Brøndbo Plassen, who recently won the Spellemann Prize, and Jørgen Fasting on the oboe. The concerts are conducted by the ensemble’s artistic director, Lars-Erik ter Jung. The concert is supported by The Arts Council Norway, Furestiftelsen and the Ludimus Fund
