At this concert, the TERJUNGENSEMBLE, conducted by its artistic director Lars-Erik ter Jung, will perform music by Cecilie Ore, Henry Purcell, Magnar Åm, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The programme is built around the three movements from Ore’s major work, the H2O trilogy II – a proper ‘Musical Water Workout’ for the ensemble! The various states of the water molecule form the starting point for the work – powerful waterfalls and brackish water (WaterWorks), glaciers (Glacier Song) and fog (Morning Mist). Water also becomes a metaphor for the music, which moves throughout the programme between different styles and centuries – carried by its own inner force.
